Tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward ... up to $1,000 ... if the information provided leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.

The number of tip rewards and the amounts paid for major crimes has increased. Ventura County Crime Stoppers is an all-volunteer organization with no paid employees. Ventura County Crime Stoppers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

More About Tip Rewards!
Tip rewards must be claimed within six months of check issuance at which time the reward offer is withdrawn. To be eligible for a reward and to protect a tipster's anonimity, tips must be processed through Crime Stoppers call center, their website, or app.
Call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) to follow-up on a tip made to the call center or to provide additional information. You must have the original tip number. If your tip was submitted via WebTips, follow-up through WebTips as appropriate. Again, you must have your original tip number.
Ventura County Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for a tip that leads to a felony arrest as confirmed by the arresting agency.
